Christina had her final radiation treatment yesterday. They warned her that the next two weeks would bring more pain, redness, and all that nasty stuff that goes with radiation. Then she’ll have meds, shots, etc for years to come.
She doesn’t “want pity,” but I feel people need to see what radiation has done. I, personally, never realized how bad it could get. I’m sharing pics that will aggravate her, but it’s an honest look at what her body is going through.
But the healing can actually start now.
She’s still out of work, and she needs all the help she can get. The amount of debt she is already in surpasses my student loans – a masters and almost 2nd masters is a lot – but her cancer treatment is a LOT too.
